CREDIT COUNSELING
Credit Counseling offers comprehensive services to positively affect a client’s financial future through one-on-one sessions with
credit counselors. Credit counseling focuses on issues of credit and teaches individuals how to use and rebuild credit through wise decision-making.
This program is a part of the United Way Financial Stability Initiative. Specifically, it supports the Asset Development portion of the initiative. Through financial literacy and credit counseling, we will increase the availability of financial education classes and the number of families with savings accounts containing at least $500. In addition, 5,500 families will improve their financial and credit practices and 2,000 will open savings accounts.
The CCFW credit counselor is certified through the National Association of Certified Credit Counselors.
