TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM
The Transportation Program provides a short-term transportation solution to help clients succeed financially by removing the transportation barrier to employment, medical appointments, and public benefit offices. The program is a shared ride transportation service providing transportation to and from locations where the city bus does not a have a fixed route or during hours in which the fixed route city buses are not running.
Service Criteria:
- Must be seeking transportation for employment, medical appointment, or public benefit office.
- Must reside in the City of Fort Worth.
- The T-bus route must not stop within a reasonable distance of their home and/or destination or the bus does not operate during the hours in which they need transportation.
- Must not have an alternative transportation option.
- Must be working towards the goal of finding a permanent transportation solution.
- Must be referred by a Catholic Charities case manager or a partner organization.
Cost:
There is a fee to use the centralized transportation program determined by the destination of the client.
